Mottled Slate Turkey
We love our turkeys! When we moved to TN our turkeys were the first new addition that we added to the farmstead which was about one month after getting settled in. We brooded them in our bathtub and they bonded with us to the point they imprinted on us.
Our Tom is 3 years old and has such an amazing temperament. Our girls are all social and friendly as well, which we take great pride in because many people are scared of turkeys or have had bad experiences with aggressive turkeys.
Just like any bird with the Mottled gene they get more white the older they get. Mottled Slates do not breed true. They produce the following color variations:
Blue Palms, Royal Palms, Mottled Slates, Mottled Blacks, Lavender Slates, Marbled Blacks and Marbled Slates.
**You will not see an option to purchase poults from our website because we do not ship our poults. If you are interested in purchasing poults please understand they are only available for pickup. Because our turkeys are Mottled Slates they have quite a few color variations that hatch out!

*Due to turkeys having a different laying schedule than chickens we will only have hatching eggs available when we are getting eggs consistently from our flock*
All are collected within 2-3 days. They are labeled and candled before packaging them. While we collect we store the eggs at room temp, unwashed and facing pointy side down in an egg flat.
We can ship up to 2 dozen eggs in one box. Eggs are shipped with great care in foam, bubble wrap and egg flats. An instruction sheet is also provided along with your approved NPIP form.
Shipping is included in the price and all orders will be shipped through UPS unless you are unable to receive UPS deliveries in your location. Once shipped we will email you with the tracking number
